How to Join an Interview on Riverside.fm

Step 1: Download the Riverside.fm App

• On your smartphone, go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

• Search for Riverside.fm and download the app.

• Make sure you install the app before the scheduled interview.

Step 2: Open the Invitation Link

• Check your email for the invitation link I sent you.

• Tap on the link, and it will automatically open the Riverside.fm app.

• If prompted, allow the app to access your microphone and camera.

Step 3: Set Up Your Device

• Once in the app, you’ll see a preview of your video and audio setup.

• Select your preferred microphone (use headphones if possible to avoid echo).

• Position your phone so that your face is well-lit and centered in the frame.

Step 4: Join the Studio

• After setting up, tap ‘Join Studio’ to enter the virtual recording space.

• You’ll be placed in a waiting room until I start the session.

Step 5: Recording Tips

• Stay in a quiet location with minimal background noise.

• Avoid moving around during the recording to ensure clear audio and video quality.

• Keep your phone connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or strong cellular signal.

Step 6: Wait for Uploads

• Once we finish recording, don’t close the app immediately. The app will upload your audio and video files automatically.

• Wait until you see a confirmation that your files have been fully uploaded before exiting.
